Maggie Baggett Shori
Vice President - Broker
Raised as a third generation in a real estate development family (daughter of Hap and Deborah Baggett), Maggie has a background in administration, property management, marketing, & commercial brokerage and land development. She also has owned and operated her own restaurant business.
While attending the University of Texas at Austin, she was the on-site property manager for a 20 unit multi-family complex in Austin. After leaving college, she worked for two major property management firms in the Dallas area (Columbus Realty Trust and Windsor Management). Her responsibilities included management, tenant relations, leasing, marketing strategies, supervising on-site personnel, accounts receivable/payable, market surveys, and financial reports and budgets.
Maggie made a move in February 1994 to the Town of Trophy Club to become a part of the town. As Administrative Manager and Assistant to the General Manager of The Club at Trophy Club, she was responsible for all administrative functions relating to operating a private golf club, general accounting, inventory reconciliation, vendor payments, and Human Resources.
In May 1995, Maggie joined Synergy Properties Group as Assistant to Deborah Baggett and was a vital part of the day-to-day operation of the business. She tracked all brokerage/development and business contracts (important dates, documents, and deadlines), as well as requesting standard documents, surveys, and local filings/permits. She was the primary liaison with title companies, vendors, and reps. She processed accounts payable for each of the companies and development/brokerage projects, and assisted the team with the production of marketing packages, development and brokerage documents.
In April 1998, Maggie married and lived at Eagle Mountain Lake with her husband, Raj K. Shori and three children. Together they owned and operated the Possum Lodge BBQ for 6 years.
In late 2005, Maggie returned to Synergy as the Director of Marketing (updating all current and prospective marketing packages). In September 2006, she became a Vice President of Synergy Brokerage, and is active as a retail/commercial broker working on Synergy deals, as well as with third party clients.
Maggie is active with area city governments, chambers of commerce and local charities including the Junior League of Fort Worth, the Junior Women’s Club of Fort Worth, Speedway Children's Charities, and the Halo Society . In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and creating custom invitations.
